These solid waste bins outside of our dorm are full and ready to be picked up.

Here are the separation bins each house gets, stacked nicely and fit perfectly on the balcony.
I am posing in from of recently separated plastic. All of the plastic is separated by an optical sensor in the plant, which is really cool!

Here I am standing in front of more solid waste during our trip to the Villaservice landfill and waste management facility. I think I belong here.

This is a picture of the baled, but not yet separated, solid waste from the first facility that we visited.
Three bins full of organics ready to be picked up for one of three times this week.

Taylor and I were walking to school, picking the snails up after the rain when we stumbled upon some litter in our beautiful city.

The birds can get relentless at landfills, this is nothing compared to the many we actually saw at Villaservice.

There is even waste separation at the beach! This place is a dream!!

We noticed some litter on the street on our walk to dinner. I was sad at first but then remembered that our guest lecturer told us that litter is easier to separate ;)

Once again, Cagliari has multiple bins set out for separation, which is amazing. Still, I am wondering how many parking spaces all of these bins take up. I guess you can take the girl out of Boston, but cannot take the Boston out of the girl. Seems like I would just have to talk to Marty about a more neighbor-friendly plan.
