DAY 0

Ciao Boston! We're off on another "HAdventure" (get it??), next stop: Sardinia. Well, actually, it's Munich for 6 hours, then Sardinia, but you get the point.

I cannot wait to see what Italy has in store. From what I have heard from past dialogue attendees, it is the experience of a lifetime. I am hoping for sunny beaches, life-changing gelato and of course, beautiful wastewater treatment plants. Overall, I imagine it will be full of great food, great people and great times. No, I do not know Italian or much about Italian culture, but I was able to navigate Peru so I am not too worried. It's a bit intimidating being in a foreign country for six weeks, but I am not alone. Usually, I just have to get into a routine and I am fine.

Our itinerary gives us two-hour lunches, so I am assuming Cagliari is more of a relaxed atmosphere compared to Boston. I do not like to generalize, but from what I hear, Italians passionate about their food and culture. I am hoping they will be able to teach me a lot about their customs, history, and if I am lucky, how to make yummy food.

Well, it's almost time to board, so I am going to get some snacks. Talk to you all soon :)
